Know the Father by Knowing the Son....
Jesus came to earth to do the Father’s will, but He also came to represent God so that we would know what it is like to have God with us. In Colossians, we read....“He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God ….” Colossians 1:15 In Hebrews: “And He (Jesus) is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature ….” Hebrews 1:3 And in John....“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God …. And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us …. No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.” John 1:1, 14, 18 Jesus Christ is the very representation and likeness of God. He was sent to show us the beauty and majesty of the King. He did not make His debut in Bethlehem because He existed before creation “in the beginning.” In fact, it was “through Him” that “all things were made.” (John 1:3) Even when we look back to the book of Genesis, we read that God said, “Let us make man...
