VOICES...........

There’s a voice in our head that tells us we are not enough. Some days it’s quiet and other days it’s super shouty. We let  so much negativity flow from our brains throughout our  bodies and eventually we start to believe it and own that we  are inadequate or less than.  We can't let this voice derail us from our purpose. Next time  you hear miserable words floating through your  brain....deflate them immediately by reflecting on and  speaking the words of Ephesians 2:10. "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do  good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."  Ephesians 2:10

MAKING TOUGH CHOICES......AGAINST THE GRAIN

IF you claim to be a believer and follower of Jesus, then you must strive to imitate our Creator God in EVERYTHING we do. Therefore, for us who are Christians, there is no such thing as separation of church and state. We are His church! We have no choice but to try to do His will in all things. We can't be politically correct as that leaves Him out of the equation. To live for Christ.....to truly LIVE for Christ means to put Him fir st, to deny the world, to fight the tough battles, and to remain firm in what He commands of His children. IF you are not a Christian, then His will and His word does not apply in your life as you have chosen to reject Him. However, we who are His should NOT be expected to bow to what satan throws out in this world and we should not be expected to remain silent. If a Christian vocalizes their beliefs, they are mocked, cursed, and called a multitude of negatives by those to whom they do not see eye to eye. They cry out demanding THEIR rights all the

BE A BLESSING AND BE BLESSED! Amen! † Bobby , you always manage to peak my interest and give me just enough to encourage me to research and dig a little deeper. I honestly was not sure what the Shema or Jesus Creed is when you mentioned it in your post. The more I read and gleaned, I thought I would share it here for others who also might not know.....the rest of the story.  😊  Thank you for always challenging us and for taking us "outside the box." I learned that Shema is “hear” and that Jesus adds to the Shema, taken from Deuteronomy 6:4-5, the words from Leviticus 19:18….to love your neighbor as yourself. Well, that door opened another as you mentioned the Lord’s Prayer. This is the creed by which He lived and exemplified for us. Similarly, the Lord’s Prayer is based on an ancient Jewish prayer called the Kaddish, but just as Jesus added to the Shema, He also added to the Kaddish. The Kaddish goes like this: “Magnified and sanctified be His great name in the world

What is grace anyway?

GRACE......What is "grace" anyway? Well, grace is......grace! Grace that cannot be abused is no grace at all. Grace that is not free is no grace at all. Grace that is not received by simple faith is no grace at all. I like the way Paul put it in Romans 11:6, "And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace." It's either by grace or by works. It can't be by both. But here's the crazy thing about grace, once you receive it through faith it begins to transform you. Jesus changes your "wanter" (what we want/desire) and you become a new creation. Sure we can abuse it and, if we're honest, often do. But when we let grace do it's work it "teaches us to say 'No' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age" (Titus 2:12.) God's grace is not a license to sin but a reason to serve Jesus with reckles
