EXAMPLES OF A PRAYER FOR HEALING......

Our precious heavenly Father and Creator of all, please be with our dear sister and Your child, Jan. Although she has cancer and has been put on Hospice, You are still in control. You are our Great Physician! Dear Father, You are all mighty and all powerful and have all healing power to bless Jan with a healing miracle. She needs more time here, Holy God, so that she can see and spend precious time with her first grandchild. Please God, please grant her more time with her loved ones. Reverse this cancer and delay its trauma on her body. I have known of miraculous healings before and I know that it is in Your power to give this blessing to Jan if it be Your will. She is ready to come Home because she has been one of Your faithful, but I plead with You that her Homecoming can come at a much later time. I make this plea before You in complete faith trusting that You will do what is best for Your child. You love her with an everlasting love and through that love, I pray for her restored he

PRAYER FOR THE STRUGGLING......

Dear Father, my heart is broken for so many of Your children who are struggling what seems like impassible burdens.....yet, we know that You will gladly take on our load if we just ask. You are here in every moment of our day. I pray we will all feel Your closeness and know the power we have been given through You placing Your Holy Spirit within us. We will fall down, but precious Father, I pray that you will pick us up, mend our hurts and forgive our wrong. It is only through You that we can live in freedom with the purest of joy that no man can steal away. I give You praise and adoration above all as You are our Lord of Creation. You are holy and on bended knee I bow to You. Your children are blessed beyond measure and my thankfulness overflows from my heart. In Your Son's Most Holy and Precious Name, Amen!

LIFE.....

Wow.....Life is short! Shocking, no, because we read in James 4:14: "Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away." We have been warned, yet we live as though our earthly life will last forever. We live as if our goal is to work to have more and more possessions. We don't usually work to only sustain life, but to have more stuff....the newest and the best. When we focus on our neighbors and trying to keep up, we lose our real purpose and His goal for us. Society makes it tough to go against the proverbial grain. We should never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life....A life built with purpose that will have eternal rewards.

RUNNING..........

Running away from our problems is a race we will never win. Besides, it is not who or what we are running from, but Who we are running to. Jesus is waiting to pour His grace, mercy, and forgiveness over you. He will fill you with a love that is everlasting. He will walk with you through the storms, carry your burdens, and never leave you alone. Running away leaves one full of loneliness and despair; however, running to Him offers eternal hope, joy, and peace. Give your life to Jesus.....100%......and never look back! †

BREAK DOWN THE WALLS.....

There are times when God wants to use us in someone else's life; it may not be pretty or comfortable, but they need to see Jesus! We must mold ourselves to be vessels fashioned for serving others. We are here for the purpose of shining His Light where the lost and suffering need us the most. Be the church....outside the walls! ✝

STUMBLING......

"The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand." WOW....Such a comforting image. God holding our hand to keep us from falling when we stumble. What a awesome blessing to know that He has us covered......covered with the saving blood of His Son while He looks over our daily walk and directs our steps through His Holy Spirit. He delights in us! Amazing! †

WE ALL HAVE A STORY.....

We all have a story..... It is how we use our story that matters. Is it counted as a blessing, a testimony; even if a negative, has it been used as a positive, transforming message? Have you seen, felt God's loving grace working through your story? Have you felt His healing presence as He transformed your being into something you thought could never be?  Are you a living miracle because of His redemptive mercy? Life is a journey filled with twisting paths, hills, valleys, but do you feel Him......Have you felt Him all along the way? He has been with you through your journey and He will never leave you. He gives you power, strength, and the ability to defeat all odds....to be an over-comer, and achiever. Be His living testimony and share with others what He has done in your life.....because He has been with us...."through all of it!" †

THE COMMON.....

We live in a world where the "common" is accepted with open arms. What is common? The status quo, the politically correct....the world's way of thinking, acting, and living is what is "common." We, who are followers of Jesus, are to be an "uncommon" people. God works on the inside of us to transform us; therefore, we can not exemplify the common, but are to be a peculiar people. In 1 Peter 2:9 we read, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." †

FROM JOHN 6.....

Reading in John 6, Jesus fed the 5 thousand and later left and went across the lake. The crowd looked for Him and realized that Jesus had left in the boat with His disciples. As soon as more boats arrived, they climbed on board and set-out to find the One who performed the miraculous signs. When finding Jesus, He told them that their desire to be with Him was because He had fed them....not because they understood the miraculous signs. They responded to Him by saying, "We want to perform God's works, too. What should we do?" (verse 28). Jesus responded by answering them in verse 29, "This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the One He has sent." Jesus continues in verses 47 and 48, “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes has eternal life. Yes, I am the bread of life!" †

WHAT GOD HAS DONE FOR US.....

It's important to know what the Word says about you and who you are in Christ and what your inheritance is. When other people may tell you that you're not good enough or can't do this or will never accomplish that....you need to remind yourself of who you are and what you have through Jesus Christ. Like David did, when He had lost everything, let's encourage ourselves by remembering what God has done for us and thank Him for it. Don't let the enemy lie to you and make you feel like you are alone, that God is mad at you or that you don't matter God has a great plan for your life. Plans to prosper you and to give you a future and hope. It's up to us to lay claim to what God has given us! I am a child of God..... "But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name."  John 1:12

MY PRAYER TODAY FOR RAELEIGH JANE......

I wanted to share my prayer tonight for Raeleigh Jane, Josh, and  Rachel in hopes that each of you will stand with me in this prayer and also lift it before our Holy Father. Hope everyone will lift their voices before the Throne and we will fill heaven with Raeleigh Jane's name. † "In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears." ~ Psalm 18:6 Most gracious heavenly Father, I come to You in trusting faith, believing that You are our Holy Creator, the all-powerful, all-mighty One. Your precious little child, Raeleigh Jane, is very very sick, dear Father, and she needs Your healing power to pour over her weak and fragile body. Please bless Raeleigh Jane, with Your miracle of life without the suffering that she is now experiencing because of cancer. Circumstances can so easily overpower our thoughts and attitudes, merciful Father, but Rachel and Josh are continuing to give you all

MY PRAYER TODAY......

Most gracious heavenly Father, thank You for revealing Yourself to us through the Bible and through Your Holy Spirit. Help us to read Your Word with an open and teachable heart. As we read the texts, help it to come alive to us. We want to know You more, and to know Your truth. Bless us with the continuous filling of Your Holy Spirit and allow Him to guide us. Make us realize when we are following traditions and doctrines of men and not in Your will for our lives. May we love  with an everlasting love and temper our tongues to speak words of life...not death and destruction. Help us to be intentional with our actions and not reactional. May our hearts give forth to our lips flowing words of praise, thanksgiving, affection, encouragement, kindness, and truth in love. Help us to use our words and actions to create a world around us that is positive, uplifting, and that brings glory to You. May we be compassionate servers who put other's needs before our own as we shine Your Light. Th

AMAZING MESSAGE.....

Such an amazing message of love, hope, and peace! † "Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. Saving is all his idea, and all his work. All we do is trust him enough to let him do it. It’s God’s gift from start to finish! We don’t play the major role. If we did, we’d probably go around bragging that we’d done the whole thing! No, we neither make nor save ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good work he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing." Ephesians 2:7-10

DOING NOTHING.....

There are many Christians who are doing nothing, but there are no Christians who have nothing to do. The word "serve" comes from the Greek word "latreuo" and is often translated as "worship." It is not the picture of a slave serving a master. It is the picture of a love relationship that compels action. Service begins in the heart where it was conceived in love and then works its way out in every day life as an act of praise and gratitude. Service is love in action. "God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us to do good works, which God planned in advance for us to live our lives doing." Ephesians 2:10

OUR PURPOSE.....

Because of our humanity, we often lose sight of what God’s purpose is for us. Although our goals while in this short span of time called “life” should be the same, our individual gifts will influence how we achieve our purpose. We have all been gifted and are to use our talents for the good of others and for His glory. We are to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. By our words, actions….by the way we live our lives ~ being the active, breathing church outside the walls ~ bring ing the lost to Him. So many live their one life in a continuous state of searching, feeling unfulfilled, sad, empty…..ever looking, but not knowing what they are looking for or what is missing. They are missing Jesus.  It is His followers who have been given the task of reaching out….going to the world, and that means starting right in your own neighborhood….sharing the love of Jesus and His message in whatever manner works for you. He makes no promise of continuous blue skies and rainbows while we are in our p
