Update: Liver Biopsy - PET Scan - Treatment Changes

  As most of you already know, I had a Liver Biopsy, a PET Scan, and a Bloodwork Profile and I have waited to get all results prior to writing a blog post update. I also had a lengthy consultation with my Oncologist, Dr. Bondly, yesterday.  First, I want to start off with a Super Praise God moment! My Liver Biopsy confirmed that my cancer has not changed to Her2-. It remains ER+ Her2+. That means we have been on the right treatment path. There is a strong possibility, however, that the Femara, Letrozole, that I took for 18 months did not work. It is a hormone based chemotherapy taken orally. It was to help lower my hormone and estrogen levels which in-turn was to help fight my cancer. We will find out more about that from the genetic portion of the Liver Biopsy when the results come back in about 3 weeks. Thanking God for this gorgeous day! I commit this day to You, Lord. Use us, open doors up for us, fill us with Your presence, direct our paths. Rejoicing in His love! Hope all of you enjoy this day; although, I know that there are so many who are struggling with life's issues.  Our journey can be so difficult at times, but we can have hope through Him that He will carry us through. My prayers continue with all who are experiencing dark days. May you receive the blessing of better days to come. Hold fast to Him and in knowing how much He loves you. Amen! †

Devotional: Sunday Night Thoughts: Discipleship...Reaching the Lost

Sunday Night's Thoughts: We must disciple the lost...not try to convert the already saved. “And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age’” - Matthew 28:18–20 If we are baptized believers and followers of Jesus, WHY are we spending most of our energy trying to convert other Christians? Rather than “going out to the lost” whether in our neighborhood or around the world…we focus on converting the already saved to whatever fellowship or tribe to which we assemble with. Can we not realize how ridiculous that is and what a waste of our time and energy that is?
